Gerardo Luna Gijón

Full Time teacher in the Graphic Design School, of the Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla, Specialist on information design, he has worked on editorial design as well as UX designer. His interest for infographics helps science communication and seeks to emphasize  the rol of the narrative as a tool to manage the knowledge in people.

Nakú Magdalena Díaz González Santillán

Nakú Magdalena Díaz  is an economist (UDLA-P) with numerous specialties and diplomas in the areas of Financial Administration (ITESM), Entrepreneur for Social Development (ITESM), Computer Science (SAP), Project Management, and Human Resources.  She has worked as a Manager and Project Leader under these fields in various companies, as well as an independent businesswoman. She studied also Music Composition (BUAP), a Master degree in Aesthetics and Arts (BUAP) and a Doctorate in Images, Art, Culture, and Society (UAEM).

Anayuri Güemes Cruz

Professor and researcher of the Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la BUAP, profile PRODEP. She has a PhD in Anthropological Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Iztapalapa. She concluded a master’s degree in Sociology at the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities ”AVP” of the BUAP, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Social Anthropology of the same university.

Sarahi Isuki Castelli Olvera

PhD in Social Sciences, from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo. She is a Research Professor at the School of Communication at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. Research line: visual culture in contemporary graphics, so that hers research is oriented to topics related to visual culture, contemporary art, Japanese comic and Mexican comic.

Luis Fernando Gutiérrez Domínguez

Dr. Gutierrez-Dominguez is a Full-Time Teacher and Researcher at Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). PhD and MS in Anthropology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Postdoctoral stays in Historia y Estudios Regionales at Instituto de Investigaciones Histórico-Sociales, Universidad Veracruzana, and Antropología Sociocultural it Instituto de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, BUAP.

Iván Deance Bravo y Troncoso

Academic at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), with a Phd in History and Ethnohistory and a degree in Ethnology, along with a master’s in Regional Studies, postdoctoral degrees in History and Anthropology and graduate diplomas in Descriptive Linguistics, Cultural Empathy and  Expertise in Anthropological Sciences.

Alejandro Jiménez Arrazquito

Full-time Research Professor at the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla where he’s part of the consolidated academic bodie “Imagen, Memoria e Investigación Social”. Graduate in Communication Sciences by the Universidad de las Américas-Puebla. Currently he’s studying a Phd in Media, Communication and Culture at the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona with the investigation project: Speeches about gay in Mexican fiction cinema.

Mónica del S. Medina Cuevas

Full-time Research Professor at the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). PhD in Image, Art, Culture and Society (UAEM). Master in Information Design (UDLAP). Graduaten of Communication (Universidad Iberoamericana). Member of the consolidated academic group: Image, Memory and Social Research. Research lines: studies on Mexican cinema, documentary cinema and documentary fiction. Analysis of aesthetics and narration in audiovisual products, as well as the social representations shown in the film product.

Verónica Vázquez Valdés

Academic at the Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla, with a Phd in History and Ethnohistory by the Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia with a master’s degree in communication and a degree in ciencies of the communication by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, along with a speciality in Photography and visual antrophology. She has the certification of the International High Training Program: Internationalization, Leadership and Communication by the Next International Business School.
