PhD in Social Sciences, from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo. She is a Research Professor at the School of Communication at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. Research line: visual culture in contemporary graphics, so that hers research is oriented to topics related to visual culture, contemporary art, Japanese comic and Mexican comic. Among hers latest publications are the following titles: “Between the third machine and the beast: Representation of the computer and technologies in CLAMP's manga X”; “Iconographic references of X, a postmodern manga: between the apocalypse and yin yang”, in the Studies of Asia magazine, of the Colegio de México; “The introduction and influence of manga in Mexico: The case of Lorena Velasco Terán and DREM”, in the Spanish magazine Comic booklets and New age elements in the X manga of the CLAMP, on the Jangwa Pana magazine, Magazine of the Faculty of Humanities, Universidad de Magdalena. She is a candidate for the national system of researchers.
