Professor and researcher of the Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la BUAP, profile PRODEP. She has a PhD in Anthropological Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Iztapalapa. She concluded a master’s degree in Sociology at the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities ”AVP” of the BUAP, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Social Anthropology of the same university. She is a member of the Investigation Group: “Power, objects, practices and contemporary social processes”, under the individual line “Listening and power: sociocultural and interdisciplinary expressions of contemporary inequalities”. Collectively she has published articles in various journals and has organized academic and cultural events for the promotion of equity practices through diffusion of science and culture within the university. Her work has been presented at various national and international conferences and she has been co-producer, since 2005 with the sound organizer Zael Ortega, of the radio program “Electroacoustic Arts: place of radiophonic enunciation” on Radio Buap.
