Full-time Research Professor at the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla where he’s part of the consolidated academic bodie “Imagen, Memoria e Investigación Social”. Graduate in Communication Sciences by the Universidad de las Américas-Puebla. Currently he’s studying a Phd in Media, Communication and Culture at the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona with the investigation project: Speeches about gay in Mexican fiction cinema. He taught subjects such as audiovisual language, cinematic appreciation, documental video workshop, film analysis seminar and audiovisual production workshop. As an investigator, he studies socio cultural representations in the audiovisual media through the analysis of narrative and aesthetic resources. He has participated in academic events and national and international publications. Member of the Red Iberoamericana de Narrativas Audiovisuales. Additionally, he has worked as a filmmaker getting scholarships and recognition for project in the FONCA, the FOESA and the Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia, among others.
